The Browns have signed running back Noah Herron to replace Jason Wright as our third man in the back-field. Wright just signed with the Cardinals.
Herron is 26 years old. He was first drafted by our rival Steelers in 2005 in the seventh round.
After great recent signings like Womack and St. Clair, we do not understand this move. Herron averages under 3.5 yards per carry over his career. He has been released by every team that he has signed with - Steelers, Packers, Bucs and the Jets. His career statistics are less than 300 yards, less than 30 passes and five touchdowns. He has not played a single game in two full seasons. He has experienced a serious knee injury.
This does not make a whole lot of sense to us, with respect.
Go Browns!

Way to go Browns. This looks like a solid move. Mangini and Kokinis are making some great moves, at least on paper. I hope all these studs play up to their "potential."
